Erica was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has lived in the greater Phoenix area for most of her life. She has spent over 20 years in human resources working with mission-driven organizations. Before joining the Grand Canyon Trust, she was the first director of human resources for MAPS Public Benefit Corporation, a clinical research organization focusing on psychedelic medicines and therapies.

Erica was drawn to the Grand Canyon Trust’s mission to protect the Colorado Plateau and support the rights of its Native peoples. Erica has over 30 houseplants and recently became a certified master gardener associate with Maricopa County.

Erica uses the pronouns she/her/hers.
