A proud member of the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program, Sujata Gautam came to the Trust eager to continue exploring ways she could make positive impacts in the world. Since her passions lie in both living sustainably and serving others, she aims to work in areas where environmental and humanitarian concerns overlap. This goal has led to her particular interest in combating waste pollution using creative waste diversion methods and exercising wise land management skills. Sujata believes the science and advocacy aspect of her internship with the Trust provided an invaluable learning experience.
