The Moab Museum contains more than 10,000 objects from the Moab area, ranging from a full skeleton of an Ankylosaur, a hand-carved relief map of the 900 square miles surrounding Moab, and equipment and clothing used by miners during the 1950s uranium boom. The museum highlights the region's human history, including artifacts dating back 4,000 years, information on the Old Spanish Trail that went through Moab Valley, and furniture and household items from Mormon pioneers. The museum also hosts educational programs, workshops, and historic site visits.
