Mackinaw Campground in central Utah is a cool, lush, green weekend escape
Fish Lake is a premiere high country get away, and Mackinaw Campground is a great place to stay while visiting the area.
As Utah’s largest natural mountain lake, Fish Lake boasts great fishing, boating, and swimming, and is just a short walk across the street from the campground.
The campground features comfortable accommodations, including modern bathrooms and showers, not to mention beautiful lakeside views. Aspen trees and sagebrush slopes separate you from neighbors, offering some privacy in the large campground.
Four group sites accommodate up to 20 people each, perfect for your next gathering. The campground takes reservations for half of its sites, with the remaining ones offered as first come, first serve.
Several hiking trails are close by, including the Fishlake Hightop (Pelican Canyon) Trail, and the Lakeshore National Recreation Trail.
