You’ve heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Well, this Tuesday, November 29, 2016 is Giving Tuesday, a global day of charitable giving. From now until the end of the year, an incredibly generous donor has offered to match your donation to the Grand Canyon Trust two to one. That means every dollar you donate to the Trust will have triple the impact.
If you care about the spectacular landscapes, flowing rivers, clean air, beauty and solitude of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado Plateau, we ask that you support the Grand Canyon Trust by making a donation or renewing your membership today.

All year long, we escape into the mountains and canyons of the Colorado Plateau. We soak up their silence. We take in their views. But today, it's about giving back to the landscapes we love.
We're working with local Navajo families to fight off the massive Escalade development scheme, which would include a gondola into the Grand Canyon ferrying more than 10,000 tourists per day from the rim down into the canyon at the Confluence—a place held sacred by native people, including the Navajo, Hopi, and Zuni.
The Trust is taking the owners of the last operating conventional uranium mill in the United States—the White Mesa Mill outside Blanding, Utah— to court to force them to clean up their act. Recent data show that radon emissions from the mill violate the Clean Air Act, endangering surrounding communities and ecosystems.
We're making our forests and communities healthy and fire-resilient once again by working with the Forest Service, industry, and environmental groups to restore over 2 million acres of the world’s greatest ponderosa pine forest spanning four national forests in northern Arizona.
This #GivingTuesday, will you stand up for the Grand Canyon, Bears Ears, and the rest of the Colorado Plateau by making a financial investment in the Grand Canyon Trust today?
It’s easy to assume that because places like the Grand Canyon are national parks, they will remain protected forever. But as the threats of the gondola into the Grand Canyon and uranium mining demonstrate, these places are not safe from harm.
Please join us in this fight by becoming a member of the Grand Canyon Trust with your $50 donation today.
